Today all young black children across America lost their rights to play in the park. The second amendment guarantees the rights of individuals to bear arms. There is no age limit. A young 12 year old boy was gunned down for standing in a Gazebo.
This is the basic truth, Why is it that simple: When the officer who shot the young man arrived on the scene the legal toy gun was no where in sight. The officer approached the young boy and shot him without regards to any juris prudence. No instructions were given and no questions were provided as to the nature of the Gun.
1. was it legally possessed
2. was it illegally possessed
3. was a crime being committed with the gun
4. Is playing while black a crime
5. No one gave the child the benefit of the doubt or even time to say anything.
A mandate should go out tomorrow to the police forces saying if you fear for your lives then leave the force and let the Brave protect and serve the people. Policing is an honorable profession served by the fearless who risk their lives daily and when the cowards take the badge they abuse it and make it terrible for the rest of the good police.
The justice system is broken so its time to fix it. With new judges comes new vision and decisions. The system is broken and it must be fixed or there will be no system. There is no Justice only JUST US,
The real thing that bothers me is that our youth are growing up with neighborhood PTSD. When you cannot run or play in the park because someone may kill you its time to demand a nationwide retraining for the system.
Its one of the most egregious demonstration of mis justice I have seen in 20 years.
